France… Dead?
I just got back from a nice four day weekend over in France and Belgium. Along with all the great things we got to do we also had a chance to look at a few of their cathedrals over there that were in the towns we were visiting, below are a couple of
pictures.

As we walked round we all admired how incredible these Cathedrals were, but you also had to notice how sad it was that there were so many relics that people will make a pilgramige too, so many confession boxes where people can be ‘forgiven’, so many altars in the middle of these Churches. It made us think that actually perhaps where missionaries really are needed to preach the gospel is in the heart of the west where there are so many barriers, and so many false teachings about forgiveness and God going around.
Am I just losing it or does it seem that so much of France, the UK and the west in general is spiritually dead, much more so than places in Africa where so many of our missionaries go?
